Child Health Veto Will NOT Be An Election Issue

Posted in Politics by me on the October 5th, 2007

According to NewsMax the recent veto of the child health bill will be one of the main election topic this year. I submit it will not.
I know the Democrats are aligning behind this children’s issue just like any teacher’s union who need a levy to keep their bloat alive. They have trotted out some kids and played off voter’s emotions in hopes for public opinion swaying their way.

This reminds me of a passage from Daniel 11:

19 Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.
20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honor of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflowed from before him, and shall be broken; yes, also the prince of the covenant.

The Democrats say that ‘its for the kids.’ Many of those kids are making $80,000 and are 25 years. Bush to his discredit said after the veto that if they submitted trimmed down bill he would consider signing it. Either one is going to push our country further to the edge by flattering us with illusion that we are ‘helping the kids’.

Both sides obviously want it, it’s just the size they want. With such a small distinction between the two how can this actually be an issue?
